Storm chasing is both difficult and dangerous. While you could simply look at a weather forecast and go to where storms are predicted your chances of successfully intercepting a severe storm are slim. Most forecasts are very general and will give an area covering many hundreds of square miles. As an experienced storm chaser I can analyze weather charts and computer models in much finer detail than most commonly available weather forecasts. My years of experience help me spot severe weather potential and enable me to forecast not only where but when storms are likely and how strong they will be. Then I can escort journalists, TV crews or the public to the optimum place to view the storms taking into consideration safety, lighting and road conditions. I won't just get you to the storm, but to the spot that will give you the best view and the best position for great pictures.
I can advise on camera and photography equipment as well as shooting methods and techniques that will help you get the best shots. I have a wide range of safety, communications, navigation and computer equipment that will help me get to the right storm at the right time.
I have helped newspapers get close up pictures of tornadoes, documentary and news crews get stunning tornado film and video and helped many members of the general public witness the awesome power of nature close up. Whether it is tornadoes, hurricanes or lightning I can get you close. If you would like to know more please don't hesitate to contact me.
