Expeditions to the Northern Lights and Arctic Norway.

by Alister on Dec.19, 2009, under Weather Blog

Hi All. Some of you have expressed an interest in coming up to Norway with me to shoot the Northern Lights. Well I have been keeping an eye on solar activity and there is a large coronal hole and sunspot system on the sun, currently facing earth. The sun rotates once every 28 days so this means that a good time to go to Norway would be the 15th of January retuning on the 18th of Jan. We can either go to Tromso and stay in the Tromso area or travel up into the mountains for a real arctic adventure, in this case returning on the 20th of Jan. I will provide XDCAM EX or XDCAM HD workshops as well as photography workshops while we are there. There should be a second opportunity to run a similar trips departing on the 11th of February. The cost for the short trip is £500 plus flights or £900 plus flights for the adventure trip. If interested please email me asap including your preferred departure dates. alister -at- ingenioustv -dot- com
